Adventure Outdoors is excited to offer quality pronghorn antelope hunts in the Texas panhandle. We have some exceptional antelope country north of Pampa, Texas. The success rate on antelope hunts usually runs 100%.The hunting terrian consists of rolling sage flats and farm country. We consistanly harvest antelope scoring 70 to 80 inchs as well as some antelope scoring over the magical 80 inch mark. Antelope hunting in Texas is by landowner permit only. We typically obtain approximately 30 landowner permits during the Texas antelope hunting ten day season. Hunting consists of spot and stalk or waiting near a water hole. Antelope are known for their great vision and running ability. The antelope is the fastest animal in North America. A mature antelope buck will typically weigh 120 - 150 pounds live weight. In preparation for your antelope hunt, you should bring binoculars, spotting scope, shooting sticks, and be prepared to shoot from 100 - 300 yards (out-of-state hunters will be required to purchase a Texas hunting license). Our antelope hunts include meals, lodging, guide and care of game. We have two exceptional lodges that are within a 1.5 - 2 hour drive from Amarillo, which houses a major airport. Airport pickup is not included but can be arranged for $75. Once your hunt is complete, we can arrange for your trophy to be shipped back to you or we can send your antelope to the taxidermist immediatley and ship it to you once complete.
